Warranty Policy

1 Limited Warranty. Nothing Products specified below that were purchased in India from Nothing authorized sales channels are covered by Nothing’s limited warranty
which starts from the date of invoice (the “Limited Warranty”).

2 Product Defects. The Limited Warranty covers the hardware components of our
Product(s) as originally supplied and Product defects caused by workmanship or
build materials. This warranty is valid when the product is used under normal
conditions, as per the instructions given in Instruction Manual and the purpose for
which the product was designed. The Limited Warranty does not cover any of the
matters listed in Limited Warranty Exclusions.

3 Original country. The Limited Warranty is only redeemable within your original
country or region of purchase.

4 Warranty Claims. To make a claim, please provide your original proof of purchase (invoice(s)), Product(s) model and IMEI/serial number of the Product, and photo evidence of the Product’s defects to Nothing Customer Service as set out in the Contact Support section of our website https://in.nothing.tech.

Nothing may conduct diagnostic tests on the product (s) to identify the cause of failure/defect.

5 Repairs and replacement. Any repair and/or replacement of part service covered by the Limited Warranty, along with shipping and handling, will be free within the Limited Warranty period specified below. The time taken for repair and transit under the warranty shall not be excluded from the warranty period.

Before you handover the product (s) for service, please back-up data and remove confidential and/or personal information from the product. Nothing will not be responsible for any damage or loss of any program, data, or removable storage media.

Under no circumstances shall Nothing be liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage exceeding the purchase price of the Product. 

6 Parts and components. Nothing may use rebuilt, reconditioned or new parts and components when repairing any Product(s). Alternatively, we may replace the defective Product(s) entirely with a rebuilt, reconditioned or new Nothing Product(s).

All replaced spare parts are owned by Nothing.

7 After-sales assistance. Please note that we only offer after-sales assistance in the areas where we make shipments (this includes repairs and/or replacements/returns).

9 Statutory rights. The Limited Warranty does not affect your statutory rights under applicable law.

Limited Warranty Exclusions

1 What is not covered under the Limited Warranty

The Limited Warranty does not cover:

(a) defects or damage resulting from man-made damages, accidents, neglect, misuse or abnormal use; defects or damage caused by abnormal conditions or improper storage; exposure to liquid, moisture, dampness, sand or dirt, or unusual physical, electrical or electromechanical stress;

(b) cosmetic damage, including but not limited to, scratches, dents unless failure has occurred due to defect in material workmanship caused by Nothing;

(c) defects or damage resulting from excessive force or use of metallic objects on the touch panel;

(d) devices that have the IMEI/serial number or similar removed, defaced, damaged, altered or made illegible;

(e) ordinary wear and tear;

(f) defects or damage resulting from the use of the Product(s) in conjunction with accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment that are not furnished or approved by Nothing;

(g) any physical feature defects or damage resulting from improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, or adjustment not furnished or approved by Nothing;

(h) defects or damage resulting from external causes such as collision with an object, fire, flooding, dirt, windstorm, lightning, earthquake, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuse, abnormal voltage or improper use of any electrical source;

(i) defects or damage resulting from cellular signal reception or transmission, or viruses and other software problems introduced into the Product(s);

(j) products not purchased from nothing.tech or authorised resellers

(k) Products purchased outside India

(l) repair(s) conducted by unofficial repair centres.

(m) if the handset is rooted by the user

(n) if the device has exceeded the standard warranty duration

Out of Warranty Repair

Nothing will determine whether a product is "Out of Warranty" at the company’s discretion according to the standards listed below. Repair of "Out of Warranty" products shall be separately quoted by the Nothing authorised service centre and respective service shall be provided upon service fee payment.

(a) Violation of warranty including but not limited to customer-induced damage, such as self-repairs, exposure to water, damage caused by misuse, alternation, rooting of device, failure to comply with product manual, and so on.

(b) Expired Warranty

7.4 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY


EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOTHING IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE; LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OF REPUTATION; LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO, COMPROMISE OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; OR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, PROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH THE NOTHING PRODUCT OR ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION STORED ON THE NOTHING PRODUCT.


THE FOREGOING LIMITATION SHALL NOT APPLY TO PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS, DEATH OR ANY STATUTORY LIABILITY FOR INTENTIONAL AND GROSS NEGLIGENT ACTS AND/OR OMISSIONS. 



7.5 The warranty is governed and construed under the laws of India and all dispute pertaining to the terms of this warranty shall be resolved by the competent courts of Gurugram, Haryana.
